Welcome to The Earl Grey

A much-loved local in Northfleet, The Earl Grey has been serving superb ales for centuries…

A former 18th century coaching inn, The Earl Grey has been a popular watering hole on Northfleet’s Vale Road for more than 250 years. It’s a friendly, traditional local with bags of community spirit.

Cross the threshold here and you’ll discover a great selection of award-winning ales and lagers from Britain’s oldest brewer, Shepherd Neame, plus a superb assortment of wines, spirits and more.

You can enjoy your drinks in the cosy, traditional bar, or outside in a large family-friendly garden, where a children’s play area keeps younger patrons happily occupied. And there’s entertainment for the grown-ups too, with traditional pub pursuits including pool, darts, a jukebox and a fruit machine, plus live sport on TV courtesy of BT Sport.

You can even join the successful darts team or football team - giving you the perfect excuse (not that you need one) to pop into the Earl Grey again and again.
